Up Close and personal

In this film based loosely on the story of anchorwoman Jessica Savitch, Michelle Pfeiffer plays a woman desperate to become a TV newsperson. After faking her way into a low-level job at a Miami TV station, she falls under the wing of a veteran news director (Robert Redford). With his help, she eventually works her way onto the broadcast. When the big time comes calling, will she leave her mentor (now lover) behind?

I love this movie. The love story is great. There are some love scenes in this show so it is best if you wait until the little kiddies are in bed. I love the way that all these obsticals get in the way and that many of them are cause by themselves. Which lets face it alot of us do in our own lifes. I don't know if I would buy this but good one to check out from time to t ime for those romantic nights either with hubby or boyfriend. Or those nights with your BEN and JERRY's.
