This animated escapade, based on E.B. White's classic children's tale, introduces us to Louie (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker and Melissa Disney), a young mute trumpeter swan. As he grows up, Louie falls in love with beautiful Serena (Reese Witherspoon), but cannot share his feelings. Frustrated, Louie flies off and learns how to read and write, but he still can't communicate with his swan friends … until he receives a present of a trumpet.

I was werry of renting this movie because all the reviews from netflix I had read said that it was a horrable movie and didn't go along with the book. Well after realizing that most of them said nothing wrong with it except it didn't go along with the book I decided to check it out. Not ever reading the book or remembering I knew that it wouldn't let me down for that reason. I still have yet to read the book but will be this week when I go to library. So based on just it being a great movie and one that I love whole heartly. I can see how kids could watch it over and over and will defintly buy this one. Despite many saying it is so different from the book.
